Job PurposeResponsible for expanding the company’s offline distribution network by appointing distributors, developing dealer/retailer networks, and achieving sales targets across the assigned territory.
Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and appoint suitable distributors and dealers in the assigned territory.
Develop and expand the retailer network and ensure regular market coverage.
Drive primary and secondary sales and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Build robust relationships with distributors, dealers and key retailers.
Ensure regular product availability, visibility and merchandising at retail outlets.
Conduct market visits to identify new business opportunities and monitor competition.
Implement company pricing, schemes and promotional activities effectively.
Monitor distributor stock, outstanding payments and market movement.
Train and motivate distributor sales teams where required.
Collect market feedback on pricing,
products, competition and customer requirements.
Submit regular sales reports, market updates and distributor performance reports to management.
Desired Profile3–7 years of experience in FMCG, consumer durables, kitchen appliances, home appliances or similar offline sales.
Proven experience in distributor appointment and territory development.
Robust network of distributors/dealers in the assigned territory will be an advantage.
Positive negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills.
Target-oriented, energetic and willing to travel extensively within the territory.
Should be capable of independently developing a territory from the ground up.
