OPD Services
Conduct regular Medicine OPD consultations.
Provide follow-up and continuity of care.

B. IPD / In-Patient Care
Examine newly admitted medicine patients.
Coordinate referrals to specialists whenever required.
Ensure appropriate discharge planning and follow-up advice.

C. Emergency Services
Evaluate and manage medical emergencies.
Provide initial stabilization and appropriate treatment.
Manage conditions such as:
Acute respiratory distress
Chest pain / suspected ACS
Stroke
Sepsis
Hypertensive emergencies
Diabetic emergencies
Acute kidney injury
Severe infections
Poisoning and other medical emergencies
Coordinate ICU/NICU or higher-center referral when required.
Ensure proper documentation of emergency interventions.

D. Critical Care Support
Provide medical consultation and support for ICU patients within the doctor's scope of practice.
Participate in multidisciplinary management of critically ill patients.
Coordinate with intensivists,



anesthetists and other specialists as required.

E. Clinical Coordination
Coordinate with departments including:

F. PATIENT & ATTENDANT COMMUNICATION
Communicate respectfully and professionally with patients and attendants.
Explain diagnosis, treatment options, expected outcomes and possible risks in understandable language.

G. ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend departmental/hospital meetings when required.
Cooperate with hospital administration and quality teams.
Participate in medical education and staff training programs.

H. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Essential Qualification
MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
MD/DNB in General Medicine/Internal Medicine from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the appropriate State Medical Council/NMC, as applicable.
