Zariyah Collective is looking for a Fashion Merchandiser – Ethnic Wear & Production to manage custom garment orders from order confirmation through final production and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:
Understand client-approved designs, reference images, measurements and customization requirements.
Prepare and maintain production/job sheets and tech packs with complete garment specifications.
Coordinate sourcing of fabrics, trims, laces, linings and other required materials.
Coordinate with masters, tailors, karigars, embroidery/handwork teams and vendors.
Plan and monitor each order through material sourcing, dyeing, embroidery/handwork, cutting, stitching, finishing and QC.
Set production timelines and ensure orders are completed according to committed dispatch dates.
Conduct regular production follow-ups and proactively identify and resolve delays.
Check garment measurements, fitting, finishing, embroidery placement, colour and overall workmanship before dispatch.
Maintain and regularly update the production/order tracking system.




Coordinate with the sales/client servicing team regarding production feasibility, timelines and order changes.
Minimize production errors, alterations, rework and material wastage.
Handle multiple made-to-measure orders simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.

Candidate Requirements:
Preferably 2–4 years of experience in fashion merchandising, garment production or production coordination.
Experience in ethnic wear, bridal wear, occasion wear or customized garments is strongly preferred.
Good understanding of fabrics, garment construction, stitching, embroidery/handwork and finishing.
Ability to understand reference images and translate them into clear production instructions.
Robust production planning, vendor/karigar coordination and follow-up skills.
Good working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
Detail-oriented with a solid sense of quality and deadlines.
