Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Plant Head to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for laser cutting machines and related production processes. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, high-quality output, cost control, and on-time delivery while managing plant operations, manpower, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:Oversee complete plant operations including Laser Cutting Production, Assembly, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch
Manage manufacturing of laser cutting machines and sheet metal processing operations
Plan and monitor production schedules to meet delivery timelines
Ensure optimum utilization of machines (Laser Cutting, CNC, VMC, Bending, etc.)
Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
Drive quality standards, reduce rejection, and implement CAPA/Root Cause Analysis
Manage manpower planning, shift allocation, and productivity improvement
Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, and Sales departments




Ensure preventive maintenance and machine uptime
Control operational cost and improve plant profitability
Ensure compliance with safety, ISO, and statutory norms
Review MIS reports, KPIs, and production performance regularly
Lead and develop production, engineering, and shop floor teams
Required Skills:Robust experience in Laser Cutting / CNC Machine Manufacturing
Knowledge of Fiber Laser Cutting Machines, Sheet Metal Fabrication
Expertise in Production Planning & Control (PPC)
Leadership and team handling skills (shop floor + engineers)
Knowledge of Quality Tools (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D, Pareto)
Robust problem-solving and decision-making ability
Familiarity with CNC/VMC machines and fabrication processes
Valuable communication and interdepartmental coordination skills
Qualification:B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
