About the RoleWe are looking for a talented Design Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between concept and manufacturable product, combining solid design sensibility with rigorous engineering discipline. You'll work closely with product managers, industrial designers, and manufacturing teams to bring current products from initial concept through to production.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, model, and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, or similar)
Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerancing (GD&T;) for manufacturing
Conduct design analysis including FEA, tolerance stacking, and DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing/Assembly) reviews
Build and test prototypes; iterate designs based on test results and user feedback




Collaborate with cross-functional teams (industrial design, electrical engineering, manufacturing, quality) to ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, and cost requirements
Select appropriate materials, manufacturing processes, and vendors for components
Manage design documentation, BOMs, and revision control throughout the product lifecycle
Support recent product introduction (NPI), including pilot builds and production ramp-up
Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues, proposing and implementing corrective actions
Stay current with emerging design tools, materials, and manufacturing techniques
