Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain IBM Cognos Analytics (10.x / 11.x).
Administer Cognos environments (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD).
Manage Cognos components: Gateway, Dispatcher, Content Manager, Report Services.
Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and perform performance tuning.
Handle user access, roles, security, and LDAP/Active Directory integration.
Manage report/package deployments and setting migrations.
Support scheduling, batch jobs, and report failures.
Coordinate with infrastructure, DB, and ETL teams for issue resolution.
Maintain backups, recovery procedures, and administrative documentation.
Provide L2/L3 production support and ensure SLA compliance.

Required Skills
Solid hands-on experience with IBM Cognos Administration.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix or Windows environments.
Working knowledge of Oracle / SQL Server / DB2 databases.
Experience in production support and troubleshooting.
Valuable communication and documentation skills.
