Key Responsibilities
Monitor and record daily scrap generation.
Segregate scrap by type (metal, plastic, paper, electronic waste, hazardous waste, etc.).
Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of scrap.
Coordinate with approved scrap vendors for collection and disposal.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Prepare reports on scrap generation, disposal, and recovery.
Reduce waste through process improvements and recycling initiatives.
Coordinate with production, stores, and quality teams regarding scrap handling.
Conduct periodic audits of scrap yards and storage areas.
Required Skills
Knowledge of scrap classification and recycling processes.
Record-keeping.
Basic knowledge of environmental and waste management
