TeraData & Cloudera Engineer – Managed Infrastructure Services

In the role of TeraData & Cloudera Engineer, you will be responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of enterprise data platforms, including Teradata data warehouse systems and Cloudera-based big data environments.

You will ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of data platforms supporting critical analytics, reporting, and business operations. You will manage end-to-end data infrastructure lifecycle, including system monitoring, performance tuning, incident resolution, and automation in an ITIL-driven delivery model.

Qualifications

Basic

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution

• 8–12 years of experience in Teradata and/or Cloudera (Hadoop ecosystem) environments

• Solid experience in database administration, big data platform support, and performance tuning

Preferred

Teradata Skills

• Solid hands-on experience with Teradata DBA activities, including:

o Database design, space management, and workload management

o Backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes
