Develop Operators Manual (OM), Workshop Manual (WSM), Assembly Instruction (AI) and related Annotated Topic List (ATL). N
Access Engineering Systems and gather material for content creation. N
Update ATLs if information is insufficient. N
Update the manuals based on ECNs N
Review the drafts created and publish them N
Update ATL for latest known translation requirements. N
Global Process support for other Tech Information teams. N
nEducational Qualification:
N
n
BE/BTech in Mechanical/Automobile Engg N
4 to 6 years of experience in Technical Writing, preferably in Automotive Domain. N
Certification in Technical Writing would be an added advantage. N
nRequired Skills:
N
n
Familiarity with agricultural equipment's/automobile parts/components is helpful. N
Experience working withelectrical schematics will be an added advantage. N
Should be able to understand Mechanical Drawings,
3D Models and Orthographic Projections. N
Excellent organization,communication, and interpersonal skills N
Ability to create/modify illustrations using Adobe Illustrator. N
Should be well-versed with Windchill, Arbortext Editor, Creo Illustrate, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe InDesign N
Should have sound knowledge in automotive parts and their applications. N
Should be a quick learner and should be able to work independently with a minimum supervision. N
Should have valuable customer handling skills N
nRoles & Responsibilities
NTechnical Writer with 4-6yrs of experience in the creation of Technical Manuals, STE, DDLC, DITA and Workshop Manuals, Operators Manuals, Service Bulletins, Assembly Instructions, Knowledge Objects, Schematics, and more for automotive/agriculture equipment.
