Required Skills & Qualifications

● 4–7 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years of hands-on DBT (Data Build Tool) experience.

● Solid proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.

● Solid understanding of data modelling concepts — Data Vault, Kimball, or similar methodologies.

● Experience with production support, incident management, and SLA-driven delivery.

● Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt Cloud, or similar.

● Proficiency in Python scripting for data pipeline troubleshooting and automation.

● Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for DBT deployments.

● Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure.

● Excellent communication skills with ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Valuable to Have

● Exposure to data governance and metadata management tools.

● Knowledge of DBT packages, custom macros, and advanced Jinja templating.

● Experience in ITIL-based support frameworks.
