Job Description

The Life Sciences R&D; department consists of around 200 engineers developing
Electron Microscopy (EM) solutions and applications that help our customers make
the world cleaner, healthier, and safer. Our global teams—based in Eindhoven
(NL), Brno (CZ), Hyderabad (IN), and Bordeaux (FR)—bring together expertise in
hardware, software, and scientific applications.

Within this setting, we are strengthening our software capabilities for the
cryo-EM workflow and are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead a
focused, high-impact team.

The Role

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of software engineers
responsible for the design, development, and lifecycle of a key application
within the cryo-EM workflow. This application plays a critical role in enabling
scientists to process, analyze, and interpret microscopy data.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining people management with technical
leadership.



You will guide the team’s day-to-day execution while actively
shaping architecture, engineering practices, and technical direction.

You will work closely with product owners, scientists, and other engineering
teams across sites to deliver high-quality software and continuously improve the
way we build and operate our systems.
