Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and assertive Security Officer to join our team in Mysuru, India. Conduct regular security patrols and monitoring of facilities, grounds, and access points to identify and prevent potential security threats and unauthorized activities
Implement and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols in compliance with local, national, and international regulations
Operate and monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems, ensuring all equipment functions properly
Perform thorough security inspections and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop recommendations for improvement
Investigate security incidents,



breaches, and suspicious activities, preparing detailed reports with findings and corrective action recommendations
Manage visitor and personnel access control, verifying credentials and maintaining accurate records of all entries and exits
Respond promptly and effectively to security emergencies, including alarms, threats, and crisis situations, while coordinating with emergency services as needed
Conduct security training sessions for employees, promoting awareness of security best practices and emergency procedures
Maintain meticulous records of security incidents, inspections, access logs, and corrective actions taken
Collaborate with management and other departments to develop and execute security improvement initiatives and emergency response plans
Provide transparent communication and guidance on all security-related matters, offering support to employees at all levels
Remain in a constant state of preparedness for emergency situations and ensure thorough familiarity with all emergency procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by management to support organizational security objectives
