Job Summary

A Firmware Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the low-level software that controls hardware devices. This role involves working closely with hardware teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement firmware for embedded systems and microcontrollers.
Develop and maintain device drivers and low-level software components.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system requirements and specifications.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of firmware.
Optimize firmware for performance, power consumption, and memory usage.
Document firmware designs, code, and test procedures.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

Qualifications
Skills: C/C++, Embedded Systems, Microcontrollers (e.g., ARM,



PIC, AVR), Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), Debugging Tools (e.g., JTAG, Oscilloscopes), Version Control (e.g., Git).
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Attributes: Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and in a team, good communication skills.
