About the Role

We are looking for a Service Desk Engineer – L1 to provide technical support to global users and ensure timely resolution of IT issues within defined SLAs.

The ideal candidate should have 1+ year of IT support experience, excellent English communication skills, troubleshooting knowledge, and the flexibility to work in rotational shifts.

Key Responsibilities
Handle daily IT support tickets, emails and service requests
Provide L1 Desktop & Application Support
Troubleshoot Outlook, Internet, browsers, PDF and software issues
Provide basic VPN and access management support
Support Domain ID creation, password reset and user access
Handle basic Active Directory and Wintel support
Provide L1 support for DBA and Unix – password reset / ID creation
Perform basic Network troubleshooting and MAC binding
Support Video Conferencing and collaboration tools
Manage shared mailbox, shared drive and application access
Grant/revoke application access as per process




Coordinate with internal teams and assign queries to appropriate support groups
Maintain SLA adherence and provide timely ticket resolution
Communicate effectively with global customers and service providers

Required Skills

IT Helpdesk / Service Desk / Desktop Support experience
Solid English communication skills
Windows & basic troubleshooting
Outlook, Internet & Browser troubleshooting
Active Directory – basic awareness
VPN & Access Management – L1
Basic Network troubleshooting
Ticketing / ITSM tools
Customer handling & problem-solving
Willingness to work in rotational shifts

Education

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a relevant field.
