Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach to therapy.

Key Responsibilities
Assess patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
Conduct speech and language therapy sessions for children and adults.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
Educate patients and family members on therapy techniques and home exercises.
Maintain accurate patient records, assessment reports, and treatment documentation.
Collaborate with doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare specialists.
Provide counselling and support to patients and caregivers.
Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and ethical standards.

Requirements




Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP/MASLP) or equivalent.
Valid professional registration/license as applicable.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Valuable documentation and reporting skills.
Freshers and experienced candidates may apply (as per requirement).

Preferred Skills
Experience in pediatric speech therapy.
Knowledge of developmental disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and neurological conditions.
Ability to handle diverse patient groups effectively.
Strong patient counselling and relationship management skills.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
Calicut Medical College, Calicut, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
