A hospital seeking an experienced Infection Control Nurse to support and monitor infection prevention and control practices across the hospital. The role involves implementing infection-control protocols, monitoring compliance, staff education, surveillance, and maintaining appropriate documentation.

Qualifications
GNM or B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution.
1–2 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably with experience in infection prevention and control or a hospital infection-control setting.
Valid nursing registration with the appropriate State Nursing Council.
Valuable knowledge of infection prevention practices, hygiene standards, and clinical protocols.
Solid communication, observation, documentation, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
Implement and monitor hospital infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
Conduct regular surveillance of healthcare-associated infections and maintain relevant records.
Monitor compliance with hand hygiene, personal protective equipment, sterilization, disinfection,



and waste-management practices.
Conduct infection-control rounds and identify areas requiring corrective action.
Educate and train nursing staff and other healthcare workers on infection prevention practices.
Assist in investigating and managing suspected infection outbreaks in coordination with the appropriate hospital team.
Monitor environmental and clinical practices related to infection prevention.
Maintain accurate infection-control reports, surveillance data, and documentation.
Coordinate with nursing, medical, housekeeping, laboratory, and other departments on infection-control initiatives.
Support audits, quality-improvement activities, and compliance with hospital infection-control standards.
Promote patient and staff safety through effective infection-prevention practices.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
