The Accounts Intern will support the Accounts team with day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliation, documentation, and administrative activities. The role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to accounting processes while ensuring financial records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
· Record and maintain financial transactions in the accounting system.
· Prepare and process invoices, bills, receipts, and payment records.
· Assist with bank and ledger reconciliations.
· Verify invoices and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
· Assist with expenses and employee reimbursements when needed.
· Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
· Support the Accounts team during month-end and year-end closing activities.
· Assist in preparing basic financial reports and other reports.
· Follow up on outstanding invoices and payment-related matters when required.
· Assist with GST/Tax-related documentation as applicable.
· Ensure accounting data is entered accurately and on time.
· Support the Accounts Team with accounting and administrative tasks.
· Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
