Job Title: Senior Building Design Architect

Job Description:
Lead the architectural design of residential, commercial, institutional, or mixed-use projects.
Develop concept designs and carry projects through schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or BIM tools.
Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil engineers, as well as clients, consultants, and contractors.
Ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
Review and approve design submissions prepared by junior architects and provide technical guidance.
Attend client meetings, present design proposals, and manage design revisions.
Oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality during the design phase.
Support construction by reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs,



and conducting site visits when required.
Mentor junior architects and contribute to improving design standards within the firm.

Typical Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
Licensed architect or eligible for registration (depending on the country).
3–5+ years of experience in architectural design and project delivery.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Robust knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and sustainable design practices.
