Job Description: Pharmacist (Full-Time)

Location: Ayra Healthcare, Padur, OMR, Chennai
Schedule: Full time | 6-day work week | Rotational off
Experience: 0–3 years
Education: D.Pharm or B.Pharm (Valid Registration)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to manage daily pharmacy operations at Ayra Healthcare’s premium polyclinic. The ideal candidate is compassionate, process-driven, and passionate about ensuring the right care reaches the right hands—safely and swiftly.

As the face of our pharmacy, you’ll not only dispense medications but also help us deliver trust-driven, ethical healthcare that builds lasting relationships with our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense prescribed medications and advise patients on correct usage.
Maintain stock levels, expiry monitoring, and cold chain management.
Ensure regulatory compliance (TNPCB, CDSCO, local drug inspector norms).
Generate daily billing, manage inventory software (EMR/POS), and submit purchase requests.
Communicate with patients compassionately and clearly regarding dosages, precautions, and refill protocols.
Maintain cleanliness, documentation, and internal audits of pharmacy.




Work collaboratively with doctors, reception, and laboratory staff for coordinated patient care.

Must-Have Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy (Recognized by PCI).
0–3 years’ experience in hospital, polyclinic, or retail pharmacy.
Basic computer proficiency (Excel, pharmacy billing software, barcoding tools).
Language fluency in Tamil and English (Hindi is an added plus).
Robust ethics, reliability, and willingness to go the extra mile for patients.

Preferred Traits:
Respectful, responsible, and patient-first attitude.
Experience with branded + generic medicines.
Familiarity with prescription scanning, inventory digitalization, and insurance forms.
Comfort in a tech-enabled clinic using EMR & digital payment workflows.
