Pharmacist Job Description

A Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications safely, providing medication-related advice to patients, and ensuring compliance with applicable pharmacy laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medicines accurately.
Review prescriptions for appropriate drug, dosage, interactions, and contraindications.
Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, and storage.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and controlled medicines.
Monitor and manage pharmacy stock, including ordering and expiry-date checks.
Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines.
Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare specialists when clarification is required.
Follow all applicable pharmacy, health, and safety regulations.
Maintain a clean, organized,



and professional pharmacy environment.
Handle customer/patient queries and provide appropriate healthcare information.
Report medication errors, adverse drug reactions, and other safety concerns as required.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), as applicable.
Valid pharmacist registration with the relevant regulatory authority.
Valuable knowledge of medicines, prescriptions, and pharmacy practices.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
