A quality engineer intern supports senior teams by testing products, analyzing defects, and helping maintain quality standards across software or manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Testing and Inspection: Execute manual or automated test cases, inspect materials or product components, and record testing logs or metrics.
Data Analysis: Collect and analyze quality data, track defects using bug-tracking tools, and report errors to development or production staff.
Process Improvement: Participate in root cause analysis initiatives and support continuous improvement projects related to Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Documentation: Create and maintain technical data, compliance reports, and system documentation.
