They troubleshoot device malfunctions, minimize downtime, ensure regulatory safety compliance, and train healthcare staff on proper device operation to support optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning: Set up, test, and calibrate current diagnostic, therapeutic, or monitoring equipment at client or hospital sites.
Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine preventive maintenance and rapid corrective repairs to resolve hardware or software malfunctions.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all medical devices comply with local and international healthcare safety standards (such as NABH or ISO).S
Staff Training: Guide doctors, nurses, and clinical operators on the correct usage and routine functional checks of medical machinery.
Documentation: Keep accurate logs of service histories, repairs, inventory parts, and calibration reports.
