Position: Account Assistant
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Finance Head

Job Summary

The Account Assistant is responsible for supporting the hospital's day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, processing payments, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements. The role assists in smooth financial management of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally/ERP software.
Process patient billing, receipts, and payment vouchers.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash book records.
Verify and process vendor invoices and payments.
Assist in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance documentation.
Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS reports.
Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, and financial documents.




Support internal and external audits by providing required documents.
Coordinate with hospital departments regarding billing and payment issues.
Ensure confidentiality of financial and patient-related information.

Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setup.
Knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
Robust numerical and analytical skills.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
