The Field Sales Officer is responsible for generating sales, developing new customers, maintaining existing customer relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets within the designated territory.
Key Responsibilities
Visit customers, dealers, retailers, and potential clients regularly.
Generate recent leads and convert them into customers.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Explain products/services, pricing, offers, and benefits to customers.
Prepare quotations and follow up on sales enquiries.
Collect customer orders and coordinate with the internal team for timely delivery.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer requirements.
Follow up on outstanding payments when required.
Maintain daily field visit and sales reports.
Update customer information and sales activities in the company system.
Attend sales meetings and training programs.
Ensure proper market coverage and territory management.
Follow company policies,
procedures, and skilled standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate or equivalent qualification preferred.
1–3 years of experience in field sales preferred.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Strong customer relationship and convincing skills.
Ability to work independently and travel within the assigned territory.
Target-oriented and self-motivated.
Basic knowledge of MS Office/mobile sales applications.
Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
