Job Title: General Technician (Plumber & Electrician)

Job Summary

Hotel Karthika Park is looking for a skilled and dedicated General Technician with experience in plumbing and electrical maintenance to join our Engineering Department. The ideal candidate should be capable of carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of hotel facilities and provide a safe and comfortable environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults, plumbing leaks, pumps, water lines, and drainage systems.
Carry out preventive maintenance according to the maintenance schedule.
Attend maintenance complaints and breakdowns promptly.
Install, repair, and replace electrical fixtures, switches, sockets, lights, and plumbing fittings.
Ensure all maintenance work complies with hotel safety standards.
Maintain proper records of maintenance work and report major issues to the Engineering Supervisor.




Support other engineering and maintenance activities as assigned.

Requirements
ITI/Diploma in Electrician, Plumbing, or a related technical field.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in hotel, hospitality, or commercial building maintenance.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance works.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required.
