CMDB configuration and customization: Design, develop, and maintain the CMDB, including configuring Configuration Item (CI) classes, attributes, and relationships according to the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework.
Discovery and service mapping: Implement, manage, and configure ServiceNow Discovery to automate IT asset identification and track CIs. Configure and maintain Service Mapping to build and visualize relationships between CIs.
Identification and reconciliation: Configure and use the Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) to manage data imports from multiple sources and ensure data integrity within the CMDB.
Integrations: Develop and maintain integrations between the ServiceNow CMDB and other IT systems (e.g., SCCM, monitoring tools, cloud services) using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub to ensure comprehensive and accurate CI data.
Scripting and development: Write and maintain server-side (JavaScript, Glide API)



and client-side (JavaScript) scripts, as well as Flow Designer actions, to enhance CMDB functionality and automate processes.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex CMDB-related issues, such as data discrepancies, integration failures, and discovery errors.
Technical guidance: Provide technical support and guidance to other IT teams, process owners, and stakeholders regarding CMDB best practices and capabilities.
Requirements analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather technical requirements and design sustainable CMDB solutions.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, such as data models, configuration specifications, and process guides.
