Role & responsibilities
Apply manufacturing-]engineering expertise across stamping technologies and related disciplines progressive-die stamping, tooling and press operations to the high standard required of the role.
Deliver stamping projects to specifications and schedule while providing technical guidance to others across the organization.
Solve routine and non-routine stamping and tooling problems with creative, creative solutions that improve quality, throughput
and cost.
Lead and participate in formal product and stamping-process design reviews, including DFM, PFMEA and tooling reviews.
Provide significant technical contributions to major stamping projects and cross-functional technical teams.
Mentor and coach junior engineers (Engineer I and II) perform similar work.
Sustain personal and skilled growth through continuing education, licensing,



degree or certificate program.

Preferred candidate profile
BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial) with relevant work experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or design engineering role, preferably in metal stamping, tooling or die
development.
Deep functional and technical expertise in metal stamping, die and tooling design and press operations.
Rigorous problem solving — disciplined methods to resolve difficult stamping, tooling and quality problems with durable
solutions.
Robust process-management ability — organizing people, equipment and activities to optimize stamping operations.
