We are looking for an experienced Weaving Preparatory professional to lead the setup and operations of a current small-lot / short-length yarn-dyed preparatory setup. The role will be responsible for process planning, machine selection and specifications, trials, commissioning and subsequently managing day-to-day preparatory operations.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage Cone-to-Cone Sizing, Sectional Warping, Knotting and Rewinding processes.
Provide technical inputs for machine selection, specifications, trials, erection and commissioning of current equipment.
Work closely with OEMs and machine suppliers to finalize the appropriate process and machine configuration.
Manage production planning, capacity utilization, WIP, manpower and shift allocation.
Ensure optimum beam quality, process efficiency and productivity.
Monitor and control waste, downtime, rework and rejection through RCA and corrective actions.
Manage sizing parameters, chemical consumption and process costs.
Coordinate with Engineering, Purchase, Stores, Procurement, Commercial and IR teams for smooth operations.
Resolve beam-related quality issues and coordinate with the weaving department for corrective actions.




Develop and train operators/workers on warping, sizing and knotting processes.
Monitor preventive/breakdown maintenance and coordinate with service engineers/OEMs.
Maintain WIP and inventory of dyed yarn, beams, accessories and sizing chemicals.
Monitor daily production, efficiency, quality and MIS; ensure necessary SAP transactions.
Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards, quality systems and operational discipline.

Candidate Profile
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Textile Engineering / Textile Technology preferred.
5+ years of hands-on experience in Weaving Preparatory.
Strong experience in Cone-to-Cone Sizing, Sectional Warping, Knotting and Rewinding.
Experience in yarn-dyed / small-lot / short-length fabric preparation will be preferred.
Knowledge/experience of Suzuki Yamada sampling setup is highly desirable.
Should have exposure to new machine selection, technical evaluation, trials, installation and commissioning.
Strong understanding of weaving preparatory processes, beam quality and process parameters.
Valuable leadership, problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills.
