Key Responsibilities
Litigation Management
Lead and manage all litigation matters (civil, commercial, labour, regulatory, etc.) across India.
Develop litigation strategies in coordination with external counsel and internal stakeholders.
Monitor ongoing cases, ensure timely updates, and drive effective resolution/closure.
Manage relationships with law firms and control litigation costs.
Contract Drafting & Review
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including:
Client contracts
Vendor/supplier agreements
Service agreements
NDAs and other legal documentation
Ensure standardization of templates and adherence to company policies.
Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice on contractual risks.
Legal Advisory
Act as a trusted advisor to business teams on legal risks and regulatory implications.
Support business growth initiatives, new projects, and commercial transactions.
Interpret applicable laws and provide transparent, actionable guidance to stakeholders.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with applicable Indian laws and internal corporate policies.




Identify legal risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Support audits, internal investigations, and compliance reviews as required.
Stakeholder Management
Partner with cross-functional teams (operations, finance, HR, procurement).
Liaise with regulators, government bodies, and external counsel when required.
Provide training to internal teams on legal and compliance matters.

Qualifications & Experience
Education: LLB/LLM from a Tier 2 college; enrollment with Bar Council of India.
Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in corporate legal roles
Strong exposure to litigation and commercial contract management.
