Role & responsibilities

MS Purview AI Security Engineer will be responsible for securing all interactions

between AI agents (Agent 365, Copilot for M365, Copilot Studio solutions) and

organizational data. This role focuses on implementing solid governance, data

protection, monitoring, and compliance controls within Microsoft Purview to ensure

secure and compliant AI usage across the enterprise.

Responsibilities
Configure and manage Purview security and compliance policies specifically for

AI agents and Copilot interactions. Implement data protection controls to govern

information exchanged between AI agents and internal and external systems. Set

up DLP, Information Protection, Insider Risk Management, and data access

policies for AI workloads. Monitor and fine tune threat protection policies for AI

enabled data flows.



Configure and maintain Purview compliance reporting for AI

activity, data movement, and policy violations. Regularly review audit logs, AI

agent activity logs, and anomalous behavior alerts to ensure secure AI

operations. Collaborate with security, identity, and M365 teams to enforce

enterprise AI governance standards. Required Skills Solid experience with

Microsoft Purview, M365 security, and data governance. Understanding of AI

agent data flow, including Copilot and Agent 365 interactions. Expertise in DLP,

Information Protection, Data Lifecycle, Threat Protection, and compliance

frameworks. Ability to analyze security logs and respond to risks in AI driven

settings
