Roles and Responsibilities

The PMC Quantity Surveyor manages all aspects of project costs, commercial administration, and contractual matters from inception to final handover.
Prepare initial cost appraisals, feasibility studies, and detailed project budgets based on architectural and Str. engineering drawings.
Bill of Quantities (BOQ) & Tendering: Draft precise BOQs, compile tender packages, evaluate contractor bids, and recommend competitive, cost-effective vendors.
Cost Control & Monitoring: Track ongoing site expenditures, monitor cost ledgers in real-time, and forecast financial outcomes to prevent overruns.
Valuation & Interim Payments: Review, verify, and certify contractor Running Account (RA) bills and interim valuations against actual work executed on site.
Variation & Claim Management: Assess change orders, negotiate price adjustments for design variations, and defend the client against unjustified contractor claims.
Final Account Settlement: Reconcile final project accounts, measure final installed quantities, and close out financial contracts amicably.





The PMC Planning Engineer controls time, progress tracking, and resource coordination to keep project execution aligned with the master baseline program
Create comprehensive master construction schedules.
Translate contract deliverables into a structured WBS, establishing logical sequence, activity dependencies, and milestones.
Identify and monitor the critical path to determine minimum project duration and flag potential execution bottlenecks.
Track actual site progress against the baseline, producing daily/weekly/monthly updates, S-curves, and variance analysis reports.
Cross-Team Coordination: Interface regularly with design consultants, contractors, and the Client team to align the project execution as per approved schedule.

Preferred candidate profile

Valuable Knowledge in IS 1200 with Prevailing market rates and Rate Analysis preparation etc.
Positive Knowledge in MS Project and MS office with positive communication skills.
