Job Purpose

The Business Head will be responsible for driving the overall growth, profitability, market expansion, and operational performance of the diamond grading business. The role will focus on developing relationships with diamond manufacturers, traders, exporters, jewellery brands, retailers, and other industry stakeholders while ensuring high service quality, turnaround time, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the overall business strategy to drive revenue, market share, and profitability.
Build and manage relationships with diamond manufacturers, exporters, traders, jewellery companies, retailers, and key industry associations.
Drive current client acquisition and increase business from existing customers for diamond grading and certification services.
Identify recent business opportunities across natural diamonds, laboratory-grown diamonds, jewellery certification, and related gemological services.




Lead the sales and business development teams and ensure achievement of revenue and volume targets.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements to develop effective growth strategies.
Work closely with laboratory operations and technical teams to ensure service quality, accuracy, and optimum turnaround time.
Develop strategic partnerships and expand the company's presence across domestic and international markets.
Drive customer retention through robust relationship management and resolution of key customer concerns.
Manage business budgets, P&L;, revenue forecasting, pricing strategies, and overall profitability.
Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing business and sales team.
