Role & responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for primary school students.
Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and vocabulary skills.
Use stories, activities, games, role plays, worksheets, and interactive teaching methods.
Prepare lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, and assessments.
Monitor students' academic progress and provide individual support where required.
Encourage students to participate in classroom discussions and activities.
Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom workplace.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and build positive relationships with students.
Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback.
Communicate with parents regarding students' progress and areas of improvement.
Participate in school events, activities, celebrations,



and other academic initiatives.
Maintain student records and complete academic documentation as required.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and coordinators for effective curriculum delivery.

Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's/Master's degree in English or a relevant field.
B.Ed. is preferred/required as per school norms.
25 years of relevant teaching experience.
Experience teaching primary grades.
Solid command of spoken and written English.
Experience with CBSE or a similar curriculum will be an advantage.
Valuable classroom management and student-handling skills.
Creative, energetic, patient, and passionate about working with young learners.
