Detailed Job Description –

A Venafi certificate automation requires a PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) engineer or security qualified to use the Venafi Trust Protection Platform (TPP) to automate the certificate lifecycle by configuring drivers, Certificate Signing Requests (CSRs), approvals, renewals, and revocations.

Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining certificate inventories, developing automation scripts (e.g., with Ansible) for deployment and renewal, integrating Venafi with other systems, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with security policies. The role also involves providing guidance on security best practices and managing integrations within complex hybrid environments.





Operational support for Certificate Life-cycle management activities using Venafi for both internal and external certificates.

L2 Support for Venafi infrastructure ( 6 servers in total)

Certificates to be managed – ~1000
Possess solid domain knowledge relevant to application security.
Demonstrate expertise in change lifecycle management processes.
Experience with Venafi platform for managing digital certificates.
Familiarity with security assessment tools and methodologies.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
