Responsibilities
Review customer contracts and create Sales Orders in NetSuite to ensure proper revenue accounting treatment.
Partner with Sales and Legal during contract negotiations to flag non-standard terms, discounting issues, or revenue recognition risk.
Ensure complex sales orders and milestones are accurately billed; prepare, review, and distribute customer billing with a service-oriented approach to client inquiries.
Prepare and reconcile deferred revenue, unbilled AR, and commission accrual journal entries
Review daily transactions related to receivables and customer deposits for accuracy and timeliness.
Record and review general ledger journal entries; support GL integrity through consistent reconciliation and review.
Support payroll data alignment between HR and Accounting for multi-country compensation processing (data validation, not ownership of payroll compliance).
Contribute to team planning, recommend cost-control prospects,



and support ad hoc accounting projects.

Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
5 years of accounting experience at a global, US-HQd company, with demonstrated strength in general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close.
Working knowledge of US GAAP, accrual accounting, and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 exposure a plus).
Proficiency with NetSuite required;.
Solid organizational skills; able to manage competing priorities independently and cross-functionally.
Close attention to detail and analytical rigor in resolving financial discrepancies.
