Job Description: Excel Data Automation & Power BI Specialist
About the Role An aerospace components manufacturing company is seeking a Data Automation & Power BI Specialist to streamline our internal workflows, establish solid data processes, and make daily functions easier for our teams. You will act as the bridge between raw data and our people,developing automated tools and interactive dashboards that support our production, purchasing, quality control, and technical development departments.
Key Responsibilities
Automate the extraction and cleanup of daily reports using Power Query and advanced Excel.
Design and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to track key metrics across Production, assembly, inventory, and supply chain.
Work directly with department heads to establish explicit data processes and replace manual, time-consuming data entry tasks with user-friendly solutions.
Act as a central point for data organization, ensuring information is accurate and standardized across the plant.
Train internal staff on how to use the newly developed dashboards and Excel tools effectively.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in data visualization and automation, specifically using Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and advanced Excel.
Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred; familiarity with production planning, inventory management, and QC is a major advantage.
Proven ability to build agile, easy-to-read dashboards that simplify complex data.
Excellent communication skills with the patience and ability to train non-technical team members
