About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Manager – Engineering & Facility to take end-to-end responsibility for plant engineering, maintenance and utilities. The role will focus on ensuring reliable operation of plant equipment and utilities, preventive maintenance, equipment availability, compliance, engineering projects and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage plant machinery, equipment and utilities.
Plan and monitor preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
Drive equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Partner with Operations and QA for failure investigation, RCA and corrective actions.
Manage installation, commissioning and qualification of current equipment.
Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
Maintain engineering, maintenance and utility documentation.
Monitor utility consumption and maintenance costs.
Lead Engineering during internal, customer and external audits and ensure closure of observations.
Manage engineering vendors, AMC/service providers and maintenance contracts.
Lead, train and develop engineers and technicians.
Drive energy-saving, cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidate Profile
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering – Mandatory.
10–15 years of relevant experience in Plant Engineering, Maintenance or Utilities.
Experience in manufacturing is required.
Experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical or other regulated industries is preferred.
Solid troubleshooting, RCA, project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
Robust team leadership and decision-making abilities.
