The Business Data Migration Expert for Finance on the LDC ERP Program is responsible for ensuring that data is delivered in accordance with global, deployment, and country-specific requirements and timelines. The role oversees data migration activities during deployment for data objects within the assigned scope. These data objects include Finance Master Data, Assets, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Profit and Loss (P&L;), and Project/WBS data. The individual acts as the functional Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for data migration activities related to assigned objects for a specific release.

Major Accountabilities
Perform and ensure timely completion of data cleansing activities for assigned data objects.
Complete data collection activities for manual and construction-related objects within agreed timelines.
Collaborate with IT counterparts to prepare and validate value mappings.
Create and maintain master data lists for assigned objects, where applicable.
Provide business insights and guidance to technical teams for the extraction and conversion of data from legacy systems.
Work closely with IT teams and Country Business Data Owners to identify and confirm data objects within the project scope.




Ensure data readiness and maintain data quality throughout the migration lifecycle for assigned data objects.
Verify that migrated data is fit for purpose and aligned with business needs and stakeholder expectations.
Review and approve upload files before and after data loads, including formal sign-off procedures.
Perform manual data entry and loading activities into target systems where required.
Execute and maintain dual maintenance activities during transition phases.
Perform and approve data verification scripts to validate migration accuracy.
Act as the Single Point of Contact for assigned data objects during Hypercare and support defect management activities.

Key Performance Indicators / Measures of Success
Successful completion of data cleansing activities for relevant data objects in line with the defined regional data migration schedule.
Timely completion of data load activities for relevant data objects according to project and deployment timelines.
Resolution of all major data quality issues related to assigned data objects within the agreed project schedule.
