JOB TITLE: Senior Payroll Specialist

REPORTS TO: Manager-Service Delivery

Position Responsibilities
Ø Manage end-to-end monthly India payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payroll completion.
Ø Collect, validate, and process payroll inputs including new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, incentives, allowances, deductions, arrears, and Loss of Pay.
Ø Perform and validate the payroll register, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and net salary including variance analysis.
Ø Process and validate Full & Final settlements, including leave encashment, notice pay/recovery, gratuity, incentives, and other applicable payments or deductions.
Ø Ensure accurate calculation and deduction of Provident Fund (PF) contributions for employees and employers.
Ø Handle PF portal activities, including new employee registrations, employee exits, and termination updates.
Ø Prepare, validate, and complete monthly PF ECR submissions, challans, payments, and reconciliations within statutory deadlines.




Ø Manage ESIC portal operations, including employee enrollment, ESI number generation, and ESI card issuance.
Ø Calculate Employees' State Insurance (ESI) contributions and ensure accurate statutory submissions, payments, and reconciliations.
Ø Calculate and process Professional Tax (PT) according to applicable state-specific slabs and requirements.
Ø Handle Skilled tax portal activities including challans generation and payments.
Ø Manage Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) calculations, contributions, payments, and applicable state-specific submissions.
Ø Calculate employee Income Tax / TDS on Salary, considering applicable tax regimes, declarations, exemptions, deductions, and taxable income.
Ø Manage employee tax declaration and investment-proof processing and make necessary payroll tax adjustments.
Ø Manage employee reimbursement, reimbursement proof verification and process.
