Role & responsibilities
Lead enterprise-wide Data Privacy, Data Protection, and Privacy Governance initiatives.
Drive DPDP Act readiness and ensure compliance with applicable privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other global data protection laws.
Establish and mature privacy governance frameworks covering the entire data lifecycle, from collection and consent to retention and deletion.
Design and operationalize processes for consent management, privacy notices, and Data Principal Rights.
Lead privacy risk management, privacy impact assessments, breach response, incident management, and regulatory reporting.
Embed Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default principles across business processes, products, and technology platforms.
Strengthen third-party, vendor, and partner privacy governance, ensuring effective oversight and risk management.
Drive privacy assurance through audits,



control assessments, compliance reviews, and executive/Board reporting.
Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Information Security, Technology, and Business teams to integrate privacy controls into enterprise operations.

Preferred candidate profile
14+ years of experience of which at least 4 in privacy, data governance, or regulatory compliance within financial services
Robust knowledge of DPDP Act, GDPR, data governance, consent management, and privacy risk frameworks
Experience with privacy audits, regulatory interactions, and incident management
Relevant certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27701, or ISO 27001 preferred
