Job Description – SAP CAPM Developer (Retail / Large Data)

Position: SAP CAPM Developer
Experience: 8–10 Years

We are hiring an SAP CAPM Developer for a retail application that handles high-volume business data such as products, stores, vendors, orders, invoices, and inventory.

Key Responsibilities
Develop SAP CAPM backend services using Node.js, CDS, OData V4, SAP HANA Cloud, or PostgreSQL.
Design scalable data models and APIs for large retail datasets, including product master, store, vendor, stock, orders, invoices, and transaction data.
Optimise database queries, CDS projections, pagination, filtering, sorting, indexing, and batch processing for high-volume data handling.
Integrate CAP services with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Retail systems, third-party APIs, and on-premise systems through Destinations, Connectivity Service,



and Cloud Connector.
Implement secure, production-ready applications using XSUAA, role-based access, logging, error handling, Git, CI/CD, and SAP BTP Cloud Foundry deployment.

Required Skills
Robust hands-on SAP CAPM, Node.js, JavaScript, CDS, and OData V4 experience
Retail domain knowledge: products, articles, stores, vendors, inventory, purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, pricing, or promotions
Experience handling large data volumes and performance optimisation
Solid SQL, database design, indexing, query tuning, pagination, and batch-processing knowledge
SAP BTP Cloud Foundry, XSUAA, SAP HANA Cloud/PostgreSQL, API integration, and Git knowledge
