Career Counselor - US Market

We are looking for a dedicated and results-oriented Career Counselor to guide students and working professionals who are interested in building their careers in the US market.

This is an on-site opportunity in Kolkata with a US night shift from 8:30 PM to 5:30 AM. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with candidates, understanding their career goals, providing practical career guidance, and helping them identify opportunities aligned with their skills and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and working professionals regarding career opportunities in the US market.
- Understand candidate profiles, career goals, skills, and aspirations to provide relevant career guidance.
- Help candidates identify suitable career opportunities based on their profiles and interests.
- Assist candidates with resume building, profile enhancement, and interview preparation.
- Explain relevant US job-market trends, hiring requirements, and basic visa-process information.




- Conduct regular follow-ups with candidates and maintain accurate updates on their progress.
- Coordinate with recruitment and operations teams to support a smooth candidate placement process.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, follow-ups, and updates in the CRM.
- Work toward monthly counselling and conversion targets.
- Build positive and professional relationships with candidates throughout the counselling process.

Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and persuasion skills.
- Good understanding of the US job market;
IT/Non-IT knowledge is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of resume screening and career mapping.
- Comfortable working in US shift timings.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Ability to understand candidate requirements and communicate career options clearly.
