nOwn the target platform and data migration: provision Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server (zone-redundant HA), run the big-bang migration via Azure DMS, wire AKS/Key Vault connectivity, and drive the production cutover runbook and rollback plan.
n·Must have
n5+ years database engineering with strong PostgreSQL administration
nHands-on Azure Database for PostgreSQL Versatile Server (HA, SKU/IOPS sizing, backups, maintenance windows)
nAzure Database Migration Service (DMS) — has executed an offline/big-bang migration (Oracle source preferred), with row-count/LOB/sequence validation
nWorking Oracle knowledge (schema/type mapping)
nAKS — ConfigMaps, Secrets, Kustomize, rolling redeploys
nAzure networking — VNet integration, private endpoints, private DNS
nAzure Key Vault + AKS (CSI Secret Store / synced secrets)
nStrongly desired
nFlyway/Liquibase · IaC (Bicep/Terraform — greenfield here) · cutover runbook & rollback authoring
