Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, in office Business Development Internship based in Ernakulam.
As a Business Development Intern, you will work closely with the business development and leadership team to identify potential clients, research businesses, generate leads, and support the sales process.
You will get hands-on exposure to how an eCommerce agency identifies opportunities, approaches brands, understands business requirements, presents solutions,



and converts prospects into clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential eCommerce and Shopify clients.
- Build and maintain a prospect database and sales pipeline.
- Find and qualify new business opportunities through online research, LinkedIn, email, calls, and other channels.
- Understand a prospect's business, website, eCommerce setup, and potential areas for improvement.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, audits, and sales materials.
- Support the team in communicating Mayday Internet's Shopify, CRO, and eCommerce consulting services to prospects.
- Participate in client calls and sales meetings to understand the complete deal cycle.
- Follow up with prospects and maintain relationships throughout the sales process.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, follow-ups, and opportunities in the CRM.
- Track sales activities and prepare basic reports on pipeline
