Role Overview
As a DB2 Database Administrator , you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance,



monitoring and optimization of enterprise DB2 databases running on Linux .

You will support database health, performance, security, upgrades, backup and recovery, user access, incident resolution and automation initiatives across business-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain DB2 UDB databases on Linux .
- Monitor database health, availability and performance.
- Support DB2 upgrades, RHEL upgrades and application upgrades .
- Provide L3/L4 troubleshooting for complex database incidents.
- Manage database backup, recovery, security and user access .
- Perform database and SQL performance tuning.
- Manage storage and I/O performance issues.
- Support production and development DB2 environments.
- Use DB2 utilities including Reorg, Runstats, Rebind, Export, Import, Load, Backup, Restore and Recovery .
