nOrchids The International School, powered by K12 Techno Services Pvt. Ltd., is looking for experienced and passionate academic professionals to join as HODs – Pre-Primary, Mathematics & Languages. This role is ideal for educators who are ready to move beyond classroom teaching and take ownership of department leadership, teacher development, academic quality, and classroom outcomes.
nKey Responsibilities

- n
- Lead and manage the respective academic department and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.n
- Mentor, guide, and train teachers on subject delivery, classroom management, lesson planning, and teaching practices.n
- Conduct a minimum of 2 classes every day and actively monitor classroom effectiveness.n
- Conduct daily teacher training sessions, including training for support staff where applicable.n
- Support and monitor newly joined teachers to ensure they are well-prepared and delivering effective classes.n
- Review and track 100 notebooks every day, identify gaps,



and ensure pending corrections are completed.n
- Monitor academic performance, classroom implementation, and teaching standards across the branch.n
- Take classes in case of unexpected teacher absence and ensure learning continuity.n
- Maintain regular academic reports and work towards continuous improvement of the department.n

nWhat We're Looking For
n
- n
- 5+ years of teaching experience in the relevant subject/area.n
- 3+ years in the last school preferred.n
- Previous HOD/Academic Leadership experience is preferred.n
- Robust skills in teacher mentoring, classroom management, academic planning, and training.n
- A personal vehicle is preferred for branch travel.n
