Role Overview
The Territory Sales Manager will own sales and business development across an assigned territory, focusing on industrial, and institutional customers . This is a field-intensive role involving customer meetings, site visits, pipeline development, and deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the assigned territory and sales pipeline.
- Generate leads through cold calling, industry data, references, and industry networks.
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and initial opportunity qualification.
- Present solar ROI/business cases and handle customer objections.
- Coordinate with technical teams for proposals and project handover.
- Drive order closure, advance collection, and final payment collection.
- Maintain accurate and updated activities and opportunities in CRM.
- Achieve assigned sales, meeting, pipeline, and collection targets.
Key Requirements
- 5–6 years of B2B Solar EPC sales experience.
- Experience in Solar industry preferred.
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical & Civil Engineering .
- Experience selling high-value B2B/project-based solutions.
- Robust communication and negotiation skills with senior decisionmakers.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- CRM experience (Zoho/Salesforce or similar) preferred.
- NCR /Haryana/ Punjab market experience will be an added advantage.
- MBA will be an added advantage.
