Job Description
The Assistant Registrar is a Group A administrative position
nresponsible for supporting the Registrar in managing
nacademic administration, statutory compliance, student records,
nexaminations, and university governance functions in accordance
nwith UGC Regulations (2018 and amendments).
nEssential Qualifications

- Master's Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.n
- Minimum 5 years' experience as Section Officer or equivalent in a University / Researchn
nEstablishment / Government Department / Autonomous Organization OR comparable
nsupervisory experience in reputed educational institution.
nKey Responsibilities

- n
- Maintain student records, enrollment, migration,
and degree issuance.n
- Assist in conduct of examinations and result processing.n
- Ensure compliance with UGC and other statutory bodies.n
- Draft official notifications, circulars, and policy documents.n
- Support Academic Council and statutory committee meetings.n
- Supervise administrative staff in Registrar's office.n
- Coordinate with academic departments and administrative branches.n
nPay Scale
nAs per UGC / State Government approved 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Level 10/11 or as applicable).
