DB2 DBA – L3 Support
Experience: 3–5 years
Required Skills & Experience:
- Robust hands-on experience with Mainframe DB2 on z/OS.
- Experience with IBM DB2 V13 for z/OS and IMS DB.
- Strong knowledge of DB2 performance tuning, including SQL query optimization, index management, workload management, DB2 Performance Monitor, and BMC APPTUNE.
- Hands-on experience with DB2/BMC utilities such as REORG, RUNSTATS, COPY, LOAD, UNLOAD, MODIFY, CHECK, RECOVER, REBUILD, and BIND/REBIND.
- Experience with IBM DB2 tools and BMC tools such as Catalog Manager, Change Manager, Log Master, APPTUNE, and MainView.
- Experience with DB2 Data Sharing and Parallel Sysplex environments.
- Experience supporting highly critical databases across multiple environments.
- Experience in database maintenance, data movement, performance tuning, and production support activities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Role Expectations:
The resource will provide L3 DB2 database support , troubleshoot complex production issues, perform database maintenance and performance tuning, support data movement activities, and ensure the stability and availability of critical DB2 environments.
