Job Description
We are looking for a Kafka Administrator with 4+ years of experience in managing and supporting Apache Kafka environments. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Kafka cluster administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, upgrades, and production support.
Required Skills:
- Robust experience in Apache Kafka Administration
- Kafka brokers, topics, partitions, replication, consumer groups, ISR and troubleshooting
- Kafka monitoring, performance tuning, and production support
- Knowledge of Kafka security – SSL/TLS, SASL, ACLs
- Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting
- Good exposure to Microsoft Azure
- Working experience on AKS.
- Confluent Kafka / Kafka Connect / Schema Registry
- Prometheus / Grafana
- Shell/Python scripting
- Good communication and problem-solving skills

Good to Have:
- AWS MSK
- Apache Flink
- Docker / Kubernetes / Helm
